Yes. W8MD requires the initial new-patient medical visit in person. Follow-up format depends on clinical need and applicable requirements.

Does W8MD prescribe semaglutide or tirzepatide?

Eligible patients may discuss semaglutide, tirzepatide, Wegovy, Zepbound and alternatives. A consultation does not guarantee a prescription.

Does W8MD offer phentermine?

Phentermine and other traditional medications may be considered when medically appropriate after evaluation of contraindications and monitoring needs.

How much do GLP-1 options cost?

Current advertised starting pathways include semaglutide from $29.99/week and tirzepatide from $45/week with insurance accepted for qualifying visits; self-pay starts from $59.99 and $69.99 respectively. Dose and other factors can change cost.

Will insurance cover treatment?

Visit participation and medication coverage are different. Coverage, authorization, deductibles and copays vary and are not guaranteed.
