What the setup fee covers

The IV route requires venous access, supplies, preparation, administration and observation. It does not mean that IV therapy is medically necessary or more effective than oral or IM treatment.

Pre-infusion screening

• Goal, symptoms and whether testing or ordinary medical evaluation is more appropriate.
• Allergies, pregnancy, heart, kidney and liver conditions, blood pressure and fluid restrictions.

Risks
